Vespa Vintage
We know that Vespa owners are passionate about their scooters and want to know their full history, with this is mind Vespa offer a service where you can request historical vehicle documents. By simply registering the details of your Vespa we can send you official documentation that can certify the authenticity of your vehicle. The cost for this service varies depending on the type of certification required and the data available in our archives.
CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN
A certificate of origin is a document from the manufacturer that provides the chassis / frame number, the engine number, the year of manufacture of the vehicle, the approval number and the location of the first-sale. It certifies the construction of the vehicle, however it does not certify the authenticity of the scooter. Why do I need this document? For re-registration of a vintage Vespa (and non-vintage), as a duplicate in case of loss or damage, to register with a club, for collector purposes and for historical interest.

DECLARATION
Official declaration issued by the manufacturer if your vehicle has received modifications, this must however conform to the current regulations, if they do not the document will not be issued. Examples of modifications that would not be compliant are tyre size, mass, length etc, this is not an extensive list, please refer to your owners manual for full details.
